To strengthen young people’s interest in and understanding of public finance management in Senegal, particularly the budget, BudgIT Senegal has launched the “YBC” Club Jeune de Suivi Budgétaire (Youth Club for Budget Monitoring). The main mission of the YBC is to create an interactive framework between youth organizations and students around the national budget, strengthen the authorities’ accountability, and promote greater budget transparency.
The club is also a forum for building capacity on technical aspects of the budget and current financial reforms.
